Bro. Emmanuel 'Hubert' Addo
Seymour Lodge No.272 Passed August 23,2014
Hubert passed away peacefully in his 70th year. He is survived by Wendy, his wife of 28 years, 3 grown children, and 1 grandchild. He was initiated into Seymour Lodge on October 13, 2009, passed March 9, 2010, and raised to the sublime degree of a master mason on May 11, 2010. He was also a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason. Cremation and a celebration of life service has taken place. Although Hubert was only able to be a mason for a short time, he was an enthusiastic and supportive member to all his brothers.

John passed away peacefully at Macassa Lodge at the age of 103. Predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Flora in 2010. Loving father of Peter (Bonnie), Nora (Ken Vince), Jim, and Andy. He will be missed by his many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. John was a member of Seymour Lodge for over 53 years, Past Grand Steward 1980, and a Honorary Inspector-General 33 degree of the Ancient and Aceepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Canada. John lived for 102 years in Ancaster and was active in his church and community. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Masonic Service on Tuesday September 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 31 Sulphur Springs Road, Ancaster, followed by a memorial service and interment in St. Andrew's Churchyard Cemetary.

W. Bro. Dr. Norman Pearson
Passed away in London ON.
Dr. Pearson enjoys a distinguished career as both an academic and a planning consultant and is one of the founders of The Bruce Trail. Trained at the University of Durham, England, as a Town and Country Planner, he was Director of Planning with the former Hamilton-Wentworth Planning Board, Commissioner of Planning for the City of Burlington, and Founder of the School of Rural Planning at the University of Guelph. Dr. Pearson has held the position of President at numerous academic institutions including Greenleaf University, Colorado-Canada Pacific Western University, Greenwich University, and the International University of Advanced Studies. He has published 15 books and about 200 papers in refereed journals and chapters in books.

W. Bro. Ernest Long, mother lodge Oxford No. 76, affiliated Landmarks/Doric No. 654, in 2005/09/27, passed to the G.L.A. on Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Burlington.. Ernest was Initiated 1947/02/10, Passed 47/03/24, Raised 47/05/26 in his mother lodge. Ernest was originally from Woodstock, served in W.W. II. He was an active church member and busy in his community. He was retired from C.U.M.I.S. in the insurance industry. He is survived by his wife Loreen, three children, seven grand-children, and eight great grand-children. Donation's in Ernest's memory can be made to The Children's Wish Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
