Bro. John Sparks, a 50 year member was initiated, passed, and raised in Seymour Lodge. He leaves behind his loving wife Jean.

 

V.W. Bro. Frans (Frank) Venema

V.W. Bro. Frank Venema passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Leaves behind his wife Christine, daughter Angelina, sons Joe, Arnold, John and his wife Carolyn, and six grandchildren. Frank was a Past Master of Seymour Lodge, Past Grand Steward, Past First Principal of Ancaster Chapter No. 155 of the Royal Arch Masons and served as their District Secretary. Frank was an active member of the community. A memorial service and celebration of Frank's life will be held at Alberton presbyterian Church on Saturday November 16, 2013 at 11 a.m.

Passed to T.G.L.A. in his 95th year, surrounded in love, He served as a tank driver for Fort Gary Horse landing on Juno Beach on D Day 1944. A member of Buchanan Lodge No. 550. Initiated: June 7th, 1954, Passed to the 2nd Degree: Sept. 16th, 1954 and R. to the S. Degree: Nov. 18th, 1954. I met him only briefly but my thoughts were that he was a kind and gentle man.

W. Bro. Morgan, an affiliated member of Seymour Lodge No. 272 since April 11, 2000 passed to the GLA peacefully while surrounded by family.  Visitation was held Monday, August 5 at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home.  Service was held Tuesday, August 6 at the same location with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.  If desired, any memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
