R.W. Bro. William (Bill) Paul


Background / Biography
Bill is the proud father of three children – his daughter is engaged and looking to
be married next year, his eldest son has two sons and sadly, Bill’s youngest son passed away in 2017.
Bill and his partner Sue live on the Hamilton mountain and enjoy golfing, hiking
and traveling. They are both active blood donors.

After becoming retired in January of 2020 in a career spanning more than 30
years in sales and marketing, Bill has spent his time helping with his grandsons,
volunteering and putting significant kilometres on his Victory Kingpin. Bill has also
acquired his real estate licence and has embarked on a second career in
this exciting industry.

Brother William Walter Paul was initiated in to Valley Lodge No. 100 A.F. & A.M.
on November 13, 2006, passed on April 9, 2007 and raised on January 14, 2008.
He served as Worshipful Master of Valley Lodge in 2014 - 15.

In 2016, W. Bro. Paul affiliated with Ionic Lodge No. 549 and served as Worshipful
Master of Ionic Lodge for two years from 2016 - 2018.

W. Bro. Paul has served as Hamilton 'C' District Communication Chair for 2 years,
as a team member of the district newsletter, The Chronicle, for 2 years, as District
Chair of Lodge Resources for 1 year and, as District Chair of
Masonic Education for 2 years and as District Deputy Grand Master for 2 years.

Bill is a member of the Murton Lodge of Perfection, the Hamilton Sovereign
Chapter of Rose Croix and a 32 degree member of the Moore Sovereign
Consistory in the Hamilton Valley.

R.W. Bro. Paul has extended his sincere thanks to the brethren of Ionic Lodge for
putting his name forth to serve the district for a 2 terms and his gratitude to the brethren of
the district for having endorsing the same.

Mission Services of Hamilton (https://mission-services.com/) has been the district charity
and together we have all raised over $42,000!

The 2 years in this office have had the themes of "Opportunities Within Challenges" followed
